If you hear a voice within you say, ‘You cannot paint,’ then by all means paint, and that voice will be silenced – Vincent Van Gogh
In an effort to help you refine your art of parenting, I’ve been posting a few creativity exercises this week to help spark your creativity. The final creativity exercise for the week involves problem solving.
Think about a problem you have to solve and imagine what the problem will look like a year from now. Research has shown people had more creative ideas and insight when they thought about their problems from a distance instead of thinking about them in the current space and time. Something about that distance seems to encourage more abstract and creative thinking.
Let me know how it works for you!
